Can you hook a ds light up to a gameboy advance sp?

I might get a gameboy advance, can you hook a ds light up to it? OR is that like a different system?

Can you hook a ds light up to a gameboy advance sp?
Some DS games have special features for if you have a GBA in the other slot. Like you can takke pokemon from GBA games and put them on DS games or if you have Harvest Moon DS you get (some) special feature for having Harvest Moon Friends of Mineral Town in the GBA slot.

But the two systems can't hook up
Reply:Ok...the DS lite is a newer system. The graphics are better and it plays the Gameboy Advance games. So you don't need to hook anything up to it, it's pretty much a jack of all trades system.
Reply:the games are compatable with any nintendos ie my 5 kids have ds lites and oldest had a gameboy advance and uses the games in his ds as at the bottom of the console there is a cartridge thing you pull out to put the larger games in.2 ds's can link up but not a gameboy and ds.
Reply:no, they're completely different, and the games aren't compatible anyway
Reply:With...certain...secret...emulation cords... and stuff-is
Reply:completely different system you cant put a link cable in for the lite so the answer is no lite uses wireless linking and gba cant
